For eligible jobs, customers send the original module and compatible replacement module for inspection and evaluation. We then determine whether the requested programming or cloning procedure is possible.

How the Mail-In Process Works

  1. Contact us with your vehicle information and module details.

  2. Provide the original and replacement module part numbers.

  3. Describe the problem and any diagnostic trouble codes, if available.

  4. Confirm service compatibility before shipping.

  5. Ship the modules according to the instructions provided.

  6. We inspect the modules and perform the agreed service if the job is feasible.

  7. The modules are returned using the agreed shipping method.

BCM and TCM Services for European Vehicles

STEELFOX Auto Locksmith works with selected automotive electronics from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, Land Rover, and other supported manufacturers.

Depending on the vehicle, we may be able to assist with body electronics modules, transmission control units, and related automotive electronics.

Compatibility is especially important when replacing a module. Even when two modules look identical, their hardware, software, or configuration may differ.

Please provide the complete part number from both modules so we can evaluate your request before you order or ship a replacement.
